LocoCocoa is the inspiration of Veritas Artizen Chocolate founder, Andrea Howard. While at the Chocolate Festival in Washington DC, she had the sharp realization that Loudoun County would be the perfect place for a festival celebrating her life's work and passion...chocolate! Loudoun County, Virginia is an incredible place to celebrate food, local producers and artists, and come together as a community of enthusiasts. With the hearty wine industry, growing craft breweries, farmer's markets, and emphasis on local craft products, Loudoun County is perfectly positioned for an event like this.
As a Loudoun County resident and business owner, Andrea deeply values the community surrounding her chocolate making business. Partnering with Chefscape to provide the location is also a perfect collaboration. Chefscape, Leesburg, is a 16,000 sq. ft. facility offering shared kitchen/business development opportunities for food producers of all types, event space, a marketplace for members to sell products, food kiosks for chefs to showcase exciting menus, a classroom for cooking workshops and events, and a full bar for the public to enjoy drinks and unique taste treats. There truly is nothing like this space for food producers and the public in NoVA. Andrea will be operating her business from this location when it opens in October, 2018.
The event is being organized with the help of the professional event management company Cluster and Vine.
